Here's why I'm personally obsessed with Doterra's Loyalty Rewards Program:

First off, what is it, right? It's totally optional monthly shipment of products you want...think of it as a "wellness box" that you can customize each month based off of what you want & need.

+ It's not a set in stone, "all or nothing" type of program. This was HUGE for me. Let me explain...The only requirement is that you order ONE item per month. That's It. It could be something as small as a lip balm, a bar of soap or a $10 oil. You're going to get get all of your shipping cost reimbursed in product points on your order and you'll keep any points that you've accrued just by ordering one item each month. Months you DO place a 50pv or more order you're going to earn a % back on your entire order, in addition to getting your shipping credited back in points. The beauty of it is that you can flip back and forth....say you place a 50pv order for a few months and are earning 15% back and then a month comes when you only order a lip balm...you're always going to get your shipping reimbursed in product points, you're going to keep all of the points you've racked up AND you're going to stay at the 15% tier.

Also, if there's ever a time when you just need to pause your subscription for a month or two, Doterra will gladly do so for you without any penalty. You'll maintain your point accrual rate and any points you've already earned. AMAZING.

+ Shipping is super reasonable and fast!  I pay $3.99 for shipping, receive my order in less than a week and earn $4 in product credit to cover it. BOOM!

+ The longer you're in the program, the more points you earn back on your purchases of 50pv or more: 

Months 1-3 = 10% back in product credit

Months 4-6 = 15% back

Months 7-9 = 20% back

Months 10-12 = 25% back

Months 13+ = 30% back

I speak from experience when I say that the way they tier this is amazing. With my old program I had to be subscribed for 2 YEARS WITHOUT MISSING A MONTH OF 50PV ORDERS to reach a 25% point earning level.  + Opportunity to earn free products with your order. If you place a 125 PV order that process by the 15th of the month, you'll earn yourself a free product. A few times a years they'll also offer freebies for a 200 PV order. I've gotten tons of oils, a car diffuser and all sorts of great stuff this way. With my old program, I rarely spent enough to quality for the free product(s) and many months felt tempted to spend much more than I needed or wanted to, just to take advantage of a big bundle of "freebies" that was dangled in front of me.

+ You can purchase sale, limited time offer items & newly launched items on loyalty rewards...that means to take advantage of a  promotion or to grab something brand new you don't have to place an additional order on top of your monthly LRP order AND you're earning points on those items as well as getting your shipping back. You can also do multiple LRP orders each month (this is super handy when they run promotions like BOGOs for a full week). Once you have loyalty rewards set up, you'll want to do ALL of your orders as LRP so that you always get your shipping back + earn the extra points anytime your order is 50pv or more.  

+ Doterra is great about sending you reminders...if you have your account set up for text message confirmations you'll receive a few reminders via not only email but text as well that your order date is approaching and you have up until midnight mountain time the night before your order date to make any changes/edits. You can leave it on auto-pilot to process on your ship date (which can be changed anytime you'd like) or, submit your order anytime you're logged into your account if you don't want to wait for your saved order date...and that will count as your order for the month. Example: your date is set for the 12th but you login on the 5th, edit your cart and submit your order that day...that counts as your order for the month, aka it won't manually process until the following month on the date you have saved.

+ There are very few restrictions on what you can redeem your points on. Diffusers and brand new or limited edition/seasonal items are excluded but, other than that you're free to use your points on whatever you'd like! Once newly released items have been part of the product line for a few months you'll be able to cash in points to get them, which is great! For years with my old program I would go to cash in my points, only to find out that what I really wanted was ineligible to be purchased with points.

You guys, I LOVE this program and feel like it's truly benefiting me, rather than costing me money that I don't need to spend. Part of that is due to the fact that I'm actually using my oils constantly (because they're working for me for more than just general first-aid type use) and I'm actually using up my bottles, rather than having them sit on a shelf. The other part is that my family loves many of the products so much more than what we used to use. For years it was just me using things like our essential oil based toothpaste and mouthwash because nobody else liked them. Now Jason and the girls are using everything from toothpaste & mouthwash to deodorant and lip balm. Obviously some of this is personal preference but we've found that we 100% prefer not only the oils but the personal care and cleaning products from Doterra over what we had used for years before...we just personally think they smell better, taste better and work better!
